General description InfraGas 9000
Our Infrared system design is based on innovative even revolutionary technology, still considered relatively young, particularly for the paper industry.
Our technical team has developed a patented catalytic ceramic based on propriety materials developed for NASA space programs. The InfraGas is a modular concept, focused primarily on efficiency and size.
The ability to focus the infrared emission on a very direct path towards the paper sheet within a confined area gives us the advantage of both efficiency and size coupled with the fact that the infrared emission is primarily on the short wavelength side of the infrared spectrum.
This ability is due to the fact that there are no metallic or strong heat conductors involved with the production of the Infrared energy. Due to our patented technology we are able to avoid the use of metals as means of re-irradiation.
Our innovative “short-wavelength Infrared” has a unique deep penetration capability and can remove water layers located deep inside the paper and as a result does not compete directly with any other form of energy for paper drying.
Our design enables an installation with minimal machine changes, and minimal to no paper direction change required.
